During the new Facebook Connect event in September there were plenty of new software announcements as well as updates to existing titles. One of those was of course, Beat Saber, with the reveal that K-pop band BTS would be releasing several of their tunes. That day has now come, with the BTS Music Pack now available.
One of the biggest bands in the world right now, BTS is bringing its catchy Korean pop music to the rhythm-action videogame, continuing the titles growing catalogue of artist-specific bundles. In addition to the songs, the new music pack also features the group’s TinyTAN characters, which players will encounter along the way.
The BTS Music Pack includes the following 12 songs:
- Blood Sweat & Tears
- Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)
- Burning Up (FIRE)
- FAKE LOVE
- MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)
- Not Today
If you’re interested in adding these infectious tunes to your Beat Saber library then the entire music pack retails for $14.99 USD/£10.99 GBP/€14.99 EUR. Or to pick and choose your favourite songs it will cost $1.99, £1.49, €1.99 per track.
Last month Beat Saber got a major update across Oculus Quest and PC VR platforms adding the long-awaited multiplayer feature. The mode allows up to five people to compete against one another, either in a private party with friends or taking part in a random match but doesn’t support cross-platform gameplay. The BTS Music Pack does support multiplayer.
Beat Saber’s continued rollout of music packs has added songs from the likes of Linkin Park, Imagine Dragons, Timbaland, K/DA, Panic! At the Disco and Green Day alongside Monster Cat artists. Supporting platforms including Oculus Quest and Rift S, Valve Index, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed Reality and PlayStation VR, as further Beat Saber updates are released, VRFocus will let you know.
