Oculus Quest 2: All the Accessories and Prices

After many, many leaks the Oculus Quest 2 has been officially announced, dropping the price for entry into virtual reality (VR) gaming from Facebook whilst upping the quality. What didn’t get leaked was all the accessories Facebook has planned for the new standalone headset and there are a few. Here’s the full list with UK pricing.

Oculus Quest 2

Starting from £299 GBP for the 64GB version the Oculus Quest 2 already offers an affordable price into VR but there are ways to further tweak your setup. There are 10 accessories in total, from replacement controllers to a carry case to protect your new gaming investment.

Here’s the full list of accessories Facebook will be offering.

  • Oculus Quest 2 Power Adapter – £29
  • Oculus Quest 2 Charge Cable – £19
  • Oculus Quest 2 Elite Strap – £49
  • Oculus Quest 2 Elite Strap with Battery and Carrying Case – £119
  • Oculus Quest 2 Carrying Case – £49
  • Oculus Quest 2 Replacement Controller (retail only) – £69
  • Oculus Quest 2 Left Jedi Controller (online only) – £69
  • Oculus Quest 2 Right Jedi Controller (online only) – £69
  • Oculus Quest 2 Soft Strap – £19
  • Oculus Quest 2 Fit Pack – £39

What may interest a lot of customers is the Elite Strap or the version with the battery. While the supplied soft strap is easy to use and adjust, some may prefer the rigid design similar to the original Oculus Quest. The Oculus Quest 2 might be lighter but there’s still plenty of weight on the front, so the Elite Strap with Battery should help balance the weight better as well as providing double the playtime.

The ‘Fit Pack’ features a pair of light blockers and two interchangeable facial interfaces for wider or narrower face shapes.

It’s not just first-party accessories which will be available, Facebook has partnered with several other companies to provide third-party accessories. The Logitech G PRO Gaming Headset will retail for $100 featuring 50 mm audio drivers and a custom length cable, its the official over-ear audio solution for Oculus Quest 2. Available in North America from Oculus.com, Logitech.com and retail partners Amazon and Best Buy. Also from Logitech are the G333 VR In-Ear Headphones for $50, available at the same places.

And for those after alternate facial interfaces then there’s VR Cover’s Facial Interface & Foam Replacement Set for $29. The company has made sets for most VR headsets, this one has anti-fog airflow channels, removable nose guard and wipeable foam replacements, available at Oculus’ website.
