ThirdEye Announce Retail Partnership With Macy’s & B8TA For Their X1 AR Smart Glasses
The company will unveil their X2 smart glasses at CES 2019.
ThirdEye Gen, a leader in the augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) smart glasses and software development industry have announced a new partnership with Macy’s B8TA to retail their X1 and X2 smart glasses. This partnership will see the products sold at stores nationwide as well as release strong sale/user metrics for ThirdEye’s AR and MR platforms. Currently, ThirdEye’s X1 smart glasses and the soon-to-be X2 smart glasses can be viewed at the Macy’s store in Times Square in New York City, at B8TA stores in San Francisco and Austin along with plenty more retail locations to be added soon as well.

So far the statistics for this partnership have seen over 850 demos, 50,000 impression and 10,000 discoveries and growing as the public become more interesting in the technology and concept of smart glasses. The company began showcasing their AR smart glasses for enterprise use back in May of this year and that has helped to build interest in the consumer version.

Elsewhere, ThirdEye have announced strong metrics for their AR platform which has to date seen over 500 plus software developers creating applications for the ThirdEye app store. 100 applications have been submitted to the app store and over a thousand orders for the X1 and X2 smart glasses have been received as well. The company is please with these metrics and have announced that the upcoming X2 smart glasses will be officially unveiled at CES 2019 where orders will begin being taken.
