PlayStation VR PVP Title Megalith Has A Release Date

The team at Disruptive Games have been hard at work on their upcoming virtual reality (VR) title about Titans battling it out for control of the Earth for some time now but finally Megalith has a release date. Coming to the PlayStation VR, players will be able to jump in and experience thrilling battles as massive characters unleashing powerful abilities go head-to-head to walk away with victory.

Though players will feel a sense of power as they unleash their titan abilities in this player-versus-player (PVP) hero shooter title, each Titan is an equal match meaning mastering their moves and abilities will be important. Teamwork will make the battle easier as there are objects to be achieved to win the battle but the open battlefield does mean that players will need to keep an eye out for the enemy.

Featuring destructible environments, nowhere is safe as the enemy could come crashing through a wall to land a surprise attack on you and your team. Thanks to a free locomotion system players will find that moving around the virtual world and unleashing their wrath of destruction will be as easy as it is fun.

When checking out the title at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2018, the team at Disruptive Games commented saying: “We love playing online games and have spent many years crafting multiplayer experiences before forming Disruptive, Megalith is the culmination of everything we have learned along the way. We have been blown away by the potential of VR gaming, and are excited to be pushing the platform as it evolves.”

The official release date for Megalith is set for January 8th, 2019 with a free trial version being made available available on November 13th, 2018 alongside a discounted digital pre-order exclusively through the PlayStation Store, it has been revealed. By pre-ordering at the PlayStation Store players will immediately unlock all Titans available during the trial, exclusive epic skins and an Avatar pack for each of the starting five Titans, along with one additional DLC Titan included at launch.

As PlayStation VR owners prepare themselves for battle against other titans, VRFocus will be sure to bring you all the latest on Megalith in the future so make sure to stay tuned for more.
