Competition: Enter A World Of Miniature Wonders In GNOG
We've got five Steam codes to give away.
After a bit of a break we’re back in the saddle, at least where competitions are concerned, here at VRFocus. Here’s the first of a couple of opportunities we’ve got over the next fortnight for you to win some cool stuff. So let’s get things underway shall we?
The teams from KO_OP and Double Fine Productions, the minds behind virtual reality (VR) as well as augmented reality (AR) puzzle videogame GNOG – pronounced ‘gun-ogg’ – have kindly teamed up with us to give you the opportunity to win one of five Steam codes for the title. Which has PC VR support for both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift and if you’re not interested in VR (which is a bit wierd if you’re here, to be honest) there’s non-VR mode now as well.
Set in a mysterious world full of odd toy-like monster heads that reveal quirky dioramas full of little puzzles, it’s up to you to interact and make them come to life, as KO_OP explain: “GNOG is a tactile 3D puzzle game about exploring whimsical monster heads and the secret worlds inside them. Filled with eye-catching designs, lively interactions, and a rich, reactive soundtrack, the hand-crafted heads come to life as you grab, poke, spin, pull, and play with each charming contraption”
It is, as Rebecca Hills-Duty wrote in her review of the orignal PlayStation VR version of GNOG, “something beautiful and striking, both visually and aurally”.
The usual rules for competitions apply, it’s a prize draw and entry is made via interaction our social media accounts and the Gleam app below. If you already keep up with us on Twitter then you can use that to enter – and if you don’t then you can just follow us (@VRFocus) and then you get an entry and all the latest immersive tech news. Same goes for if you subscribe to us on Youtube. Visiting us on Facebook, Google+ or Instagram also bags an entry and while you don’t have to like or follow us on there to get another entry you probably really should anyway. Go on. Be a sport.
The competition will be open a week. Beginning today and ending at midnight UK time on August 17th, 2018. The draw will be made shortly thereafter.
You can find the app below. Best of luck.
