Carbon Studios, the team behind the virtual reality (VR) title The Wizards and the recently released mobile spin-off, The Wizards: Trials of Meliora, have announced their plans for the first anniversary of the Early Access release. This occasion will be marked with a content update for both titles that will give players plenty to enjoy.
Tomorrow, July 28th, will be the one year anniversary of The Wizards Early Access release and Carbon Studio are more than excited to get players in on the celebration. The anniversary patch will feature a general redesign of the user interface, visual enhancements of spells and levels, along with the introduction of a new combat encounter on the first level of the title. The team at Carbon Studio believe that these changes will further improve the user experience and satisfy both new and current players.
Since its release onto Early Access the title was given many patches that expanded the gameplay, story, and the world to bring it to the standard it is today. An updated movement scheme, free locomotion, introduction of Arena Mode, and several expansions to the campaign are some of the changes that were made to the title before its full release on March 8th, 2018.
The new released mobile VR title The Wizards: Trials of Meliora will also be getting a content update. Two new levels will be coming to the title along with a new enemy type and weapon, plus major improvements to performance, gameplay balance and the user interface.
“This was a year of hard but fruitful work for Carbon Studio. The progress we’ve made since the early release would not be possible without the feedback from the community. We are thankful to all the users who have joined us in the past year, and proud to present the result of their input to new players.” Said Paweł Gajda, Business Development Manager.
To further add to the celebration of the first anniversary Carbon Studio have applied discounts of up to 50% to their spellcasting titles on both Steam and the Oculus Store. Make sure to jump into both titles and enjoy the new content thanks to the anniversary patch and for more on Carbon Studio in the future, keep reading VRFocus.
