Starbreeze Brings Immersive Entertainment to Sweden With Enterspace VR Center Stockholm
Tickets go on sale at the end of the week.
Location-based virtual reality (VR) arcades are proving to be a popular avenue for the technology, with locations springing up around the world, whether that’s in France, UK or Japan for example. Today, VR content producer Starbreeze has announced a new gaming venue in Sweden, Enterspace VR Center Stockholm, offering an all in one location to have a coffee and try the latest VR experiences.
Enterspace VR Center Stockholm has been custom built to offer guests the latest VR technology, with six rooms spread across 900 square meters and two floors. There’s also a bistro and bar where guest can enjoy food and drinks together.
”Enterspace VR Center Stockholm is for everyone. We offer a complete concept where visitors can experience VR of high quality, but also eat and drink. A fun and social hub where friends and colleagues can do something completely new together, but also stay and talk about their experiences,” says Sara Strömgren, Head of Visitor Experiences at Enterspace in a statement.
The center offers a range of interactive VR experiences for 1-4 persons, where they can choose anything from going on an adventure in Saturn’s rings, take on waves of enemies as the legendary assassin John Wick, or defeat a foe risen from the dead in The Mummy Prodigium Strike. In addition to those experiences guests can see and interact with up to four players in Ringwalker and The Raft.
”We strive to offer something for all people of ages and tastes, and we also place great emphasis on hospitality. You can come to us and experience VR even if you don’t have previous experience with the technology or the gaming world. We want everyone to feel welcome and cared for,” Sara adds.
Alongside the videogame experiences Enterspace VR Center Stockholm will soon also offer content in the center’s VR cinema. Ticket sales will start at the homepage on 18th May, 2018. For further updates from Starbreeze, keep reading VRFocus.
