There are certain challenges involved in running a town that is made entirely out of paper. The risk of your citizens getting accidentally torn in half, the havoc wreaked by a rain shower, and of course, the terrible risk posed by fire. This is the premise of upcoming HTC Vive title Paperville Panic.
Paperville Panic is a tongue-in-cheek action title created by Australian developer Ultimerse. The player takes on the role of a new firefighting recruit, who finds themselves fighting desperately to save the town of Paperville from a devastating fire.
It isn’t just putting out fires, players will also need to clear out buildings and rescue townsfolk from dangerous situations. There will even be time to indulge in a spot of amateur counselling as the townspeople need help dealing with their own personal issues as well as the ongoing disaster.
A free demo of Paperville Panic will be available on 30th October via Steam, with the full content release happening in December 2017.
You can view new screenshots for the title below.
VRFocus will bring you further news on Paperville Panic as it becomes available.
UPDATE: VRFocus previously wrote that: “The title is expected to be released on Steam for HTC Vive on 29th October, 2017 and will be available for free download.” This was incorrect and has now been amended, apologies for the mistake.
