Developer Pixel Wonder have announced that multiplayer co-op FPS CrisisActionVR has reached version 1.0 and its full release version is out now on Steam for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
CrisisActionVR puts players in the centre of an ongoing crisis – the dead have risen from their graves, and the player need to stop them. A variety of weaponry is available, including classic real-life firearms such as the AK-47 and MP5 are available, along with a variety of melee weapons such as a fire axe or katana.
The full release includes two main gameplay modes. Classic Mode lets players pick either the Red Team or Blue Team, with whichever team manages to rack up the required number of kills first will win. Story Mode is a single-player experience that tells the story of how the world became riddled with undead. There are five maps currently available, the eerie, silent Office, the dark, musty Garage, the creepy, gloomy Laboratory and the wide open expanse of the Ring Road.
The developers have been diligent with updates since the title was launched into Early Access, with the most recent update on 8th September offering a revamp of the user interface, the addition of new monster types and a tweak to monster AI to make battles into a more tactical experience.
CrisisActionVR is currently available on Steam with a 30% launch discount, bringing the price down to £10.49 (GBP) from its usual price of £14.99. The offer will end on 18th September, 2017. Further information and updates can be found on the Steam store page.
The title can be controlled with keyboard and mouse or tracked motion controllers.
