It can be pretty tough being a police officer, and the higher the organisation the more demanding the task for the people on the ground. It’s also a difficult task for any member of the emergency services to get from A to B fast and safely. Combine the two and you have the 360 degree video picked to start off your week with on Life In 360°.
We’re actually spending some time with the Federal Bureau of Investigation better known by their initials, the FBI. Thankfully we’re not spending time with them in the ‘under arrest’ sense, but more taking a trip to see how they train people who join them. So we’re off to the FBI Academy to join one of their driving instructors as part of their ‘Becoming an Agent’ series and see just how people tackle the FBI’s precision obstacle course.
We’ll be seeing more from the FBI in 360 degrees on Wednesday, so be sure to check that out and of course all the stories and features on VRFocus you may have missed over the weekend including The VR Job Hub and rumours that Facebook might be working on a virtual assistant for the Oculus Rift.
