Polyarc’s New VR Platformer, Moss, Looks Amazing in These New Screenshots

During an Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) press conference, it’s important for trailers to leave a lasting impact. When it comes to the PlayStation press conference, I think few would argue about Moss being one of the most memorable PlayStation VR titles shown – and it looks amazing in these brand new screenshots.

Polyarc’s Moss stars the adorable mouse, Quill, as she goes on an adventure. The game has been designed from the ground-up with virtual reality (VR) in mind, and the team believe they’re creating a truly fantastic VR experience.

Polyarc’s design director and co-founder, Danny Bulla, wants gamers to feel like a part of Quill’s world; “In Moss, players can reach out, touch, and interact with the environment while guiding Quill through her journey. As a character within the world, players will work together with Quill to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and conquer any danger that comes their way. As gamers, we’ve been conditioned for years to hold a gamepad in our laps when playing games, letting our thumbs and fingers do the controlling. It has been a great experience to create an immersive game that encourages players to reach into and interact with a tactile world.”

Moss looks like its shaping up to be an essential game for PlayStation VR owners – to see more of the game, just see our screenshot gallery below.

Moss has been confirmed to release on the PlayStation VR later this year – though we’re still awaiting confirmation for other head-mounted displays.
