Earlier today VRFocus reported that PlayStation VR first-person shooter (FPS) Farpoint would be getting its first DLC later this month called ‘Cyro Pack’. Now Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has begun its pre-Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 press conference, announcing that the DLC will be free to download for players.
Due to arrive on 27th June 2017, the Cyro Pack DLC will feature a brand new icy world – a polar opposite to the desert location of the main videogame. Additionally, there will also be a two-player co-op as well as challenge levels to test players shooting skills.
SIE held a smaller showcase prior to the main press conference letting press see what titles the company would be demoing on the show floor of E3. These included No Heroes Allowed! VR and Legion Commander, both from developers based in Japan and China respectively, Gran Turismo Sport, Archangel by Skydance Interactive, Futurlab’s slot racer Tiny Trax, and ROM: Extraction from First Contact which originally released on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
As the press conference continues VRFocus will bring you all the latest PlayStation VR news from the event.
