Well Bethesda hasn’t disappointed virtual reality (VR) fans with its pre-Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 press conference with the official unveiling of DOOM VFR and Fallout 4 VR both coming to the HTC Vive head-mounted display later this year. If you missed the livestream, VRFocus has the DOOM VFR trailer below so you can see what its all about.
Featuring the same hardcore first-person shooter (FPS) gameplay that the traditional videogame is known for, DOOM VFR has everything fans would expect from a VR version, with big guns, horrific enemies straight from hell and more besides. The title also uses teleportation to quickly move about levels.
DOOM VFR will launch later this year for HTC Vive and PlayStation VR, although no actual date has yet been confirmed.
