Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) didn’t disappoint for its Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 press conference. The event saw numerous virtual reality (VR) experiences announced for the PlayStation VR, from cute and cuddly adventures to frantic shooters and fantasy epics. If you missed any of them VRFocus has created a handy video run though so you can see it all for yourself – either again or for the first time.
So what was shown? Well if you weren’t keeping up with proceedings the biggest news of the night really goes to Bethesda’s The Eldar Scrolls V: Skyrim VR which the studio didn’t mention during its press conference so the videogame may just be exclusive to SIE.
Then there’s Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV: Monster of the Deep, which bizarrely is a fishing experience. Or you’ve a got Moss, delightful puzzle adventure featuring a mouse called Quill. For those sci-fi fans out there you’ve got Star Child, from Lucky’s Tale developer Playful. Lastly there was a double whammy from Supermassive Games – the studio behind Until Dawn – with Bravo Team and The Inpatient. The former is a military first-person shooter (FPS) while the latter is a prequel to Until Dawn.
VRFocus will be at E3 2017 all week, so check back everyday for the latest VR news.
