The upcoming conference in Brighton, UK, will feature a host of well-known names from the virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) industries. Among them will be Graeme Devine, one of the people behind upcoming Mixed Reality (MR) glasses Magic Leap.
Devine will be one of the keynote speakers at the Evolve conference at Develop: Brighton, which is set to take place on the Tuesday of the event. Devine’s session is titled ‘Into the Future’ and will be looking at the future of mixed reality and it’s potential to change every day tasks into something more interesting and exciting. Devine has quite a history in the world of videogames, with more than 30 years of experience in videogame development from initial work with Atari through the working on well-known titles such as Quake II Arena and Halo Wars.
Also appearing as part of the Evolve Conference will be Ethan Evans, SVP of Commerce and Developer Success at Twitch, probably the best-known and most successful videogame streaming service. Evans will be speaking on the topic of ‘Your Game as Community’ where he will share data and stories about how Twitch can help build communities.
