Things might be warming up as we prepare for this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, otherwise known as E3 – of which you can expect, of course, plenty of coverage on VRFocus. But there are of course more events than that on the horizon and as always the number is being added to all the time. The latest event announcement still focuses on gaming but more on the people that create them, with the return of Europe’s oldest indie game developers conference the Game Developers Session.
This year celebrating its fifteenth edition, the Game Developers Session will be taking place in Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic over the 17th and 18th of November 2017 the organisers are preparing the event’s programme and have opened submissions for anyone interested in taking part with a talk or panel. Interested parties who wish to apply should do so by 31st August 2017 with desired topics being:
- International cooperation in game development
- What are the next steps in VR development – SW and HW
- Raising money and looking for the investors
- Future of game design and where else it can succeed
- Technological aspects of game development
- Postmortems of indie game development projects
Tickets are also available now for those wishing to attend and these can be purchased via the Game Developers Session website. More information is expected to be revealed soon about the event’s timetable and featured guests and VRFocus will bring you that when it is made available.
