Canadian developer Fire-Point Interactive has announced its first virtual reality (VR) title in the form of Tooth and Claw, a prehistoric hunting experience.
Tooth and Claw puts players into the skin of a saber-tooth tiger, where they’ll be able to explore prehistoric hunting grounds as they track, hunt and kill opponents in multiplayer PvP arena combat.
Fire-Point Interactive will be debuting the videogame at CVR 2017, in Vancouver, Canada from 5th – 7th May 2017.
“We are really excited to show our first commercial VR title at CVR 2017. ‘Tooth and Claw’ is a super-fun player-vs-player experience which replaces guns with claws, and warzones with the forests of prehistory. Players can really get into the skin of a big cat and get in touch with their animal instincts!” said Joe Bonar, CEO of Fire-Point in a statement.
The studio was founded in 2016 as the Canadian subsidiary of Match-Light Interactive Entertainment Technology Corp. in Beijing, China.
Apart from a couple of images few other details have been released about Tooth and Claw at present. The title is expected release in Fall 2017, available for HTC Vive and PlayStation VR.
