Taking place next week is the 4th annual international ARVR Innovate Conference in Dublin, Ireland, set to feature some of the biggest names within the virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) fields.
The one-day event will cover several key sectors including: Industrial / Engineering; Marketing Communications; Tourism and Events; Construction/Real Estate and Gaming. Alongside individual talks and panel discussions the conference will feature live demo and expo halls, allowing attendees to get hands-on with some of the latest VR and AR technology.
Speakers attending the show include: Dean Johnson, Head of Innovation at Brandwidth, who’ll be giving a keynote address; Natalie Whittle, associate editor of the FT Weekend Magazine; Mark Castle, founder at VRtize; Nikki Lannen, CEO of VR studio WarDucks; Paul Sweeney, Vice President and General Manager of DAQRI International: Andy Gower, Head of the Interactive Media Research Group at BT’s Global Research & Innovation and many more.
There will also be the stARtup Demozone, with this years conference offering five free standard size expo spaces ( 6m sq. ) for new startups, together with 2 free conference passes and entry to the pre-conference VIP reception evening. The first stARtup exhibitor announced is Berlin, Germany-based AVRLON, a videogame focused developer which will be showcasing Elemental Combat – a fast-paced, competitive VR title blending the intensity of an FPS with martial arts and RPG elements.
The second stARtup exhibitor revealed is LocationViewing, a local Dublin company that make and share VR tours of business and tourist locations.
ARVR Innovate will take place on 11th May and tickets are still available. Early bird offers have now ended so the standard price is €295.00 EUR (ex VAT). There are offers for multiple tickets, so two will cost €415.00 plus VAT, or three at €495.00 plus VAT. Quantities are limited though.
