The organisers behind Canada’s largest event dedicated to virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) have announced that CVR will be returning to Vancouver for 2017. The three-day event will feature a host of industry experts and displays of new technology.
CVR 2017 is sponsored by a number of recognisable names from the VR industry, including Microsoft, Cloudhead Games, and Creative BC. Representatives from companies and organisations such as NASA, Ford and Delta Airlines will also be making appearances at the event to gives talks on topics such as the future of entertainment and solving problems in outer space with VR technology.
“We are excited to bring back CVR to Vancouver for another fantastic virtual reality show,” said Anne-Marie Enns, Executive Producer of CVR. “This really is a collection of the best and the brightest products in virtual, augmented and mixed reality – all under one roof. CVR is the biggest AR/VR conference in the Pacific Northwest and it will allow the general public to try out the newest, cutting-edge products right here in Vancouver.”
The event will take place from Friday 5th May until Sunday 7th May at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Access to the public will be on Saturday and Sunday with the Friday reserved for industry professionals.
