Last month HTC announced a bunch of experiences it would be showcasing at this weeks CES 2017 event. One of those included in the Vive Showcase was Knockout League, an upcoming virtual reality (VR) title from Grab Games. Below you can checkout the first trailer for the boxing videogame.
Designed as an arcade style boxing game built from the ground up for VR, Knockout League doesn’t take itself seriously with fighters including pirates and octopuses, alongside your standard fare.
While it might be arcade in nature, Knockout League’s gameplay still involves tactile moving and dodging with your body and 1:1 punch movement that lets you attack how you want.
As the trailer shows, you won’t be put directly in the ring to get knocked out, first there’s some training to be done. There’s a speed ball to practice on and the coach will take you through the basics.
Developer Grab Games hasn’t confirmed when Knockout League is due to launch for HTC Vive but VRFocus will bring you further details when available.
