The world has said goodbye to 2016 and the very beginnings of consumer virtual reality (VR). There’s been so much going on that sometimes its been hard to keep up with all the launches, innovations and initiatives. For our next Life In 360° of 2017 we’re taking an immersive look at the New Year’s Eve fireworks display put on in London, UK.
Recorded by the BBC, the display took place on the River Thames right next to the London Eye. Beginning with a lightshow illuminating the massive Ferris wheel and nearby buildings, the cameras switch between several locations that also show landmarks such as Big Ben.
The fireworks begin at 9:26 if you want to skip forward, the video also gives you a viewpoint directly under the London Eye allowing you to experience the display from a location those actually attending the event weren’t able to see.
As always check back later in the week for another Life In 360°from VRFocus.
