NVIDIA Celebrates Oculus Touch Launch With Two Competitions

With the official launch of the Oculus Touch motion controllers yesterday, Rift owners will now (or very soon) be diving into new immersive virtual worlds with even greater interaction. And to celebrate this launch NVIDIA is running two competitions, one for this week only and the other through December. There’s going to be plenty of prizes on offer, including graphics cards, game codes and even Oculus Touch.

The first competition is the ‘Oculus Touch Launch Week Giveaway’. Running through this week until Friday, 9th December, NVIDIA is giving away one GeForce GTX 1080 each day as well as games codes for the following Oculus Touch titles: The Unspoken, Superhot VR, Arizona Sunshine, and Ripcoil. And that’s not all, for the last day NVIDIA will be announcing a grand prize winner who’ll receive a custom PC, Oculus Rift and Touch controllers.

Entering the giveaway giveaway is easy, all you need to do is leave a comment on any Oculus Touch post on the NVIDIA GeForce Facebook or Twitter channels between now and Friday, and make sure to include the hashtag #VRReady, and tag @NVIDIAGeForce and @Oculus in your comment. Winners will then be chosen at random. Be sure to check the terms and conditions for the Oculus Touch Launch Week Giveaway to ensure your country is included.

For the second competition NVIDIA is running the ‘GeForce Experience Giveaway’.This time the company is giving away 10 Oculus Rift Bundles. These include Oculus RIft, Touch, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070. To enter, participants need to download and login to the new GeForce Experience by 30th December, so that they’ll automatically be entered to win.

These competitions aren’t the only promotions NVIDIA has announced this week. Yesterday VRFocus reported on customers purchasing either the GeForce GTX 1050, GTX 1050 Ti or the GTX 1060 would be able to choose one free indie videogame with their purchase, one of them being Survios’ HTC Vive title Raw Data.
