NED Optics to Debut GOOVIS G1 Headset at CES 2017

NED Optics are planning on debuting their next solution for mobile virtual reality (VR) at CES 2017, Las Vegas, next month: the GOOVIS G1. A lightweight head-mounted display (HMD), the GOOVIS G1 is designed to source content from a variety on inputs, including smartphones, PC, USB flash drives, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Featuring a Sony OLED micro display, the GOOVIS G1 offers a resolution of 1920×1080 per eye. Individual dials allow for independent optic adjustment to suit the user’s interpupillary distance (IPD), offering a range of 58mm-72mm, while the ‘ultra light’ construction material – which allows for user disassembly, results in a HMD weighting less than 200g.

Few other details are currently available, however the GOOVIS G1 will be debuted at CES 2017, with more details to be offered on the types of content and launch ambitions for the HMD. VRFocus will be in attendance at CES 2017 bringing you all the latest details from the show floor.
