At the launch of PlayStation VR one of the free titles available for the system was Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live. While the base game was free it only featured a small amount of content, bolstered in the following weeks with paid for DLC. Each new ‘stage’ features songs for the digital character to perform and now the third stage and final stage has been released.
The stages can be purchased individually for $14.99 USD/£11.99 GBP or the season pass is available for $39.99/£32.99 if you want access to all the content with a small saving. For the third stage Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live features the following songs:
- Raspberry * Monster – by HoneyWorks
- Amazing Dolce – by Hitoshizuku & Yama?
- Sweet Devil – by Hachioji P
- Erase or Zero – by Crystal P
- Beginning Medley – Primary Colors – by OSTER project
- Name of the Sin – by ryo (supercell)
- special encore performance of The First Sound – by malo
Exclusive to Sony Interactive Entertainment’s (SIE) PlayStation VR, Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live immerses players in the brightly coloured, neon lit world of titular character Hatsune Miku, a fictional Japanese pop star. Players begin by sitting in the arena amongst all the fans watching her performance. In their hand they have a glow stick which can be waved in time with the music, taking cues from the rest of the crowd. As the crowds intensity reaches its peak players will then be transported on stage for a one-on-one performance with the singer.
VRFocus will continue its coverage of PlayStation VR, reporting back with any further announcements.
