The videogame immerses players in the brightly coloured, neon lit world of Hatsune Miku, a fictional Japanese pop star. Players begin by sitting in the arena amongst all the fans watching her performance. In their hand they have a glow stick which can be waved in time with the music, taking cues from the rest of the crowd. As the crowds intensity reaches its peak players will then be transported on stage for a one-on-one performance with the singer.
