It’s Friday, which means we all have 24 hours (or so) remaining before we get to enjoy a well deserved weekend. Unless you are working – in which case my commiserations. To begin our collective sprint to freedom I’ve got something much longer than the usual fare you see on Life In 360°. Clocking in at over 8 minutes we have an entry connected with YouTube’s Room 301 series of videos from this Halloween just gone.
In it, Dwayne Johnson – aka The Rock – appears after two time travelling tour guides (and you) end up discovering that what was thought to be hocus pocus and mumbo jumbo was most definitely not anything of the sort. The magic of Room 301 is real – and the result could be the end of everything. Created by Studio 71 and The Big Picture Company in conjunction with Seven Bucks Digital Studios, The Rock Presents: Escape From Calypso Island is one you’ll definitely want to see with your compatible HMD on.
It seems Johnson can’t get enough of the jungle at the moment, as he’s currently filming the role of Dr. Smolder Bravestone (and what a name that is) for next year’s sequel/reboot of 1995 movie Jumanji. With The Rock involved it seems it might be a case of “In the jungle you must wait, until you know know your role and shut your mouth.”
VRFocus will be back on Monday with another Life In 360°, until then you can see Escape From Calypso Island below, which – be warned – is not for kids and contains strong language.
