At the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2016, Japanese studio Yomune.co showcased its upcoming virtual reality (VR) puzzle title Enigma Sphere. Supporting Oculus Touch, the developer has now released a new trailer detailing more gameplay footage and confirming the title will launch alongside the motion controllers.
Enigma Sphere is an action puzzler that support both single-player and co-op multiplayer gameplay. It revolves around players solving the puzzles found in each stage, then searching for hidden Spheres, shattering each one with a special hammer. While co-op mode is exactly the same, just with real-time voice chat and special interactive features such as players being able to high-five each other.
Yomune.co has put a big sci-fi back story in Enigma Sphere, involving alien lifeforms plotting to destroy the Earth. Players are Superagent’s who have been tasked with preventing the destruction of Earth by taking control of the aliens android army. This army is then used to destroy the enemy’s planet levelling super weapon from within, through finding and smashing the Sphere’s.
Enigma Sphere features 20 stages which Yomune.co states should provide around two hours of single-player and 1.5 hours of multiplayer gameplay action. The VR title will be available through Oculus Home on 6th December for $19.99 USD.
