Virtual reality (VR) is allowing content creators to redefine how we view and experience mediums like music, art, films, videogames a much more. Now Motion Works is in the process of releasing a series of music videos that combine art with VR, with the first being Spectrum: VR with Low Jack.
Spectrum: VR with Low Jack looks to immerse viewers in a complete sensory experience, through both audio and visual elements. Produced by Motion Works, Low Jack, an acclaimed electronic composer and DJ who’s work includes his recently released Lighthouse stories, has lent his skills to the arty experience. This first episode in the series was directed by Paul Mezier, with Bastien Laby as technical artist and Anthony Domingues on textures.
Motion Works wants to create a VR art label, with aims at partnering with existing brands and producing its own content.
A brief video of what to expect can be viewed below, but if you want to see the full experience in VR then you’ll need to download it for Android or iOS, then use a Google Cardboard or similar head-mounted display (HMD).
