Life In 360°: Lockstitch Lives – Migrants In The Megacity

Hello again and welcome to Life In 360°, your thrice weekly morning trip into the world of 360 degree video and how it is being used. On Monday we had a trailer for forthcoming film and if you want to check out some additional 360 degree video you may want to look at up yesterday’s release from Wargaming.net on the HMS Belfast.

Today we look at a documentary in HELM Studio’s Lockstitch Lives, a project that takes you to the Indian neighbourhoods in Dundahera, Kapashera, Sikanderpur Pahadi and Katarpuri. Lockstitch Lives brings to life the challenges facing migrants, from securing a home to finding fresh water to just getting home safely and avoiding trouble. Taking you inside the endless cycle of the need for urban expansion, the need for cheap labour and the migrant’s need to survive in poor conditions.

You can find an introduction video for the experience below, however the main experience can be found on lockstitchlives.org.

VRFocus returns to Life In 360° on Friday.
