Vertigo Games has been revealing small amounts of information on its upcoming virtual reality (VR) title Arizona Sunshine for sometime now and today is no different. The studio has announced it’ll be running a closed beta closer to release as well as unveiling some new screenshots of the environments.
Few details on the beta have been released so far, just that its happening and that participants will be randomly selected from the newsletter the developer sends out. More details are due to be announced in the next few weeks, head over to the official Arizona Sunshine website to subscribe and be in with a chance to be a beta tester.
Three new screenshots have also been unveiled, a river canyon, a deserted road filled with cars and a wooden building offering underground mine tours. The images offer a trip through the remnants of human society that used to occupy the Arizona desert. Do you venture into the cars to find useful items or leave them alone as they could be holding a nasty surprise inside? The same goes for any building you may find but with the added bonus of much needed protection but reduced escape routes.
Arizona Sunshine is currently set for release later this year head-mounted displays (HMDs) HTC Vive and Oculus Rift with Oculus Touch compatibility. A PlayStation VR version has also been confirmed.
As new details on Arizona Sunshine are released VRFocus will keep you updated.
