Microsoft’s mixed reality (MR) head-mounted display (HMD) HoloLens has been available to developers for several months now, as long as they don’t mind spending $3000 USD for each device. While HoloLens has featured at some events its not been that readily accessible for those in the UK to try. Now Microsoft has announced it’ll be demoing HoloLens at next months IP Expo Europe.
IP Expo Europe is one of the biggest IT events in the UK, taking place over two days in London. The show allows businesses from across Europe to check out the latest technical innovations from companies across the world.
Showcasing the MR headset at IP Expo Europe will be Kazendi Ltd, a UK-based company that offers a half-day HoloLens Ideation Workshop at its office, giving companies the opportunity to experience HoloLens in-depth. For attendees Kazendi Ltd will be presenting the possible applications of HoloLens with a mixture of hands-on experiences.
IP Expo Europe will take place on 5th and 6th October 2016 at the London Excel Convention Centre. On the first day TedX speaker Professor Nick Bostrom will be giving a keynote speech on ‘Artificial Intelligence and the Future’.
