Life In 360°: Childlike Wonder In Pennsylvania

Welcome back once again everyone to another week in the ever changing world of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and everything in between – including mixed reality (MR) of course. We’re just over a week away from our next high profile stop, but this week isn’t lacking in events either.

Then again admittedly, what week hasn’t this year?

For the record though there’s CCP London on Thursday and the vrLAB Hackathon on Friday. Both of which VRFocus will be attending. You can also expect a number of features and reviews sprinkled throughout the week.

Onto the moment in hand however and that’s our first trip of the week into the realm of 360 degree video and Monday’s Life In 360. The plan is to have a variety of videos this week and we’re starting off by breaking that famous showbiz rule of never working with children or animals. We’re off to York, Pennsylvania and to ‘America’s first fair’ – the ten day York Fair – to get up close and personal with two very young kids and a good half dozen chicks. The kids are enthralled by the little balls of fluff and it just so happens there is a 360 degree camera in the middle of the cage to capture their reactions.

You can see the video below.
