In July FOVE revealed a new headset design to reduce the weight, removing the plastic side panels of earlier models with straps similar to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The company has taken the new design to the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2016, along with three videogames to showcase the eye tracking functionality, Project Falcon, Judgement and Functions.
Finally, FOVE has also announced that Silicon Studio’s game engine, Xenko, will add official support for FOVE and will be available as a VR and game development platform soon.
