Previously it was only speculated that the price of Driveclub VR would be around the likes of £36 (GBP)/$47 (USD) as only the Japanese price of ¥4,900 (JPY) was revealed. Now, with three weeks left until the launch of the title as well as the PlayStation VR, the price has been shared for Driveclub VR.
The price for Driveclub VR will be 39.99 in both USD and EUR, and this was revealed on the official PlayStation Twitter as well as the EU version. Judging by the similarities in price for both the dollar and euro, it could also be expected for the GBP price to be the same also.
There isn’t much else information to be shared for the title right now as it has been teased that there will be “more soon”. One thing that will need to be cleared up is whether or not existing owners of Driveclub will get the VR version as a freebie, or if they will need to buy the title all over again. It would make sense to make a connection between the two as there have already been tracks from the VR version added to Driveclub, which happened back in August, and it was offered as a free update. It was also only back in August that Driveclub VR has been announced as a PlayStation VR exclusive.
