Last week it was revealed that Vuzix would be taking its augmented reality (AR) technology to Japan for CEDEC to showcase its way of bringing Pokémon GO to its headset. Now it is coming to Berlin for the IFA event where there will be virtual reality (VR) and AR consumer electronics on show, and Vuzix will be part of it.
The Vuzix iWear Video Headphones will be shown alongside the M100 and M300 Smart Glasses during IFA, where attendees can try out the headsets for themselves after reading much about them. It is said that throughout the event there will be several iWear units connected to other devices for user interaction, as well as enabling drone racers to demonstrate how the tech helps improve digital performance during races.
David Lock, Director of Operations EMEA said, “We’re delighted to be back at IFA. We wanted to show Europe that Vuzix is an innovative company, always moving forward with improved and exciting products. We’re thrilled to be spreading the word about our consumer entertainment product, the iWear Video Headphones and we’re delighted that potential new customers from across Europe will get a glimpse of the next generation of smart glasses.”
IFA will take place from 2nd September through to the 7th.
