It was strange that even up until the announcement of Damaged Core going gold, that there was no release date officially set for the title to come out. Now it has come that we can get our hands on the game by the end of October of this year.
The official Twitter account for the title shows minimal information, but what they did reveal was enough to get excitement. It has been revealed that the title will be coming out, as the picture below very much suggests, on the 30th August of this year.
Damaged Core has gone through many updates and changes from when it was first showcased during the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Late last year it was reported that High Voltage Software was praised by Oculus’ Jason Rubin who said it had done an “incredible amount of work” in perfecting this first person shooter (FPS). Little is still completely understood about the title, and its Twitter account proves this with its rather cryptic tweets.
Damaged Core is an Oculus Exclusive title, and so it will only be available for the Oculus Rift on the 30th August.

Update: VRFocus apologises for the mix up, this is indeed out for 30th August (obviously).
