A common kind of application for virtual reality (VR) is the creative type, with the likes of Tiltbrush and Oculus Medium, but now you are able to create your own animated movie with Tvori, although it is still in its early stages.
Currently there is the first version of Tvori available as it is an Early Access title, and what users can do is make a short film using a limited set of props on the scene.
For the full version, there will be a better way to manage a large library of props, a solution that mitigates stretching when reaching to tools, buttons, and props, the ability to export video from a camera and share scenes, advanced animation system, and a collaboration system.
Tvori is priced at £29.99 (GBP) and it is expected that there won’t necessarily be a price change when it comes as a full title, but the studio explains: “We are thinking about implementing a subscription model when it will be possible to create well-animated stories within the app and will have a community of people who love the product.” The full version is expected to be completed by the middle of the first quarter of 2017.
