Rebellion has seen a fair amount of success with its virtual reality (VR) title, Battlezone, and it hasn’t even launched yet, as it won Best Casual Game during Gamescom this month. For those who have been following this success, or are interested in finding out what this title really has to offer, a new gameplay trailer has now arrived.
In this latest gameplay trailer, there are a few new features showcased, including a variety of unannounced new tank types that will be playable in the full version, new types of enemies, and many more missions types as well as arsenal that boosts the first-person campaign. The trailer can be watched below.
For those who need a quick refresher, Battlezone is a VR reboot of the classic tanker arcade title which featured a little bit of what those in the good ol’ days thought VR really was, and so it has been seen as a pretty apt title for VR.
Along with these new details, it has also been shared that Battlezone has gone gold, and pre-orders are available to tak advantage of so you can get the title the same time as your PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD).
There will also be a blog post by Jason Kingsley, the Co-founder and Creative Director of Rebellion, who will be revealing more of what players can expect for this PlayStation VR launch title.
As well as this, Battlezone has received a new website of its own where you can look back on all the official information for the title, as well as place your pre-order.
