Oculus VR has today announced that the upcoming Oculus Touch motion-controllers will launch alongside 30 videogame titles later this year. A number of previously revealed videogames, such as Rock Band VR and Insomniac’s Unspoken will be joined by the likes of Giant Cop by Other Ocean Interactive and today’s newly revealed Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope.
“We’re excited to share that Oculus Touch will launch with more than 30 full, made-for-VR games later this year, including 20 brand-new titles that are designed around the immersive sense of hand presence you can only get with Touch” reads the official communication from Oculus VR.
Launch titles include Oculus Studios helmed videogames, such as Insomniac’s Unspoken, Dead & Buried, Rock Band VR from Harmonix, VR Sports Challenge by Sanzaru, a new Oculus Touch enabled version of Crytek’s The Climb, as well as independent titles like Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope by Croteam, Pro Fishing Challenge VR by Opus, Schell Games’ I Expect You to Die, Luna by Funomena, Giant Cop by Other Ocean, Job Simulator: The 2050 Archives from Owlchemy Labs, and Fantastic Contraption by Northway Games.
Furthermore, Oculus Medium will also ship with Oculus Touch, which was originally debuted at Oculus Connect 2, Hollywood, last year.
“This is just the beginning – there are hundreds of additional Touch titles in development, and we’ll share the full Touch lineup and launch details later this fall,” closes Oculus VR’s statement.
There is currently still no confirmation of a release date for Oculus Touch, though Oculus VR’s communications state ‘fall’. VRFocus will be getting hands-on with a number of these titles at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles this week, reporting back with all the latest details
