Submissions for Proto Awards To Begin In July 2016

Dedicated to virtual reality (VR), the annual Proto Awards are back for its third season, looking to celebrate the growing array of immersive content. Created by The Virtual Reality Foundation, the organiser has announced the seventeen submission categories along with the submission window.

Any VR studios or creators can enter the 2016 Proto Awards, with the submission process open from 10th July – 24th July 2016. Each entry requires a $50 USD fee, a complete VR experience along with 30 seconds of in-app footage. Mobile, PC and console titles must be available on Oculus Home, Google Play, App Store, PlayStation Network, or Steam. To accommodate for “installation” experiences, developers may showcase their submission at their offices for voters during pre-set windows.
