There’s now only a few days to go until the launch of the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD). The device will launch on 5th April, consumers who pre-ordered the HMD on the 29th February should see their orders arriving that day. And there’s going to be quite a few titles to play on day one, recently added to that list are two virtual reality ()VR videogames from Nival VR, InMind and InCell.
The developer has recently revealed that HTC Vive support has been added to the two videogames’ Steam page, being available to download for free. Both titles also support the Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR HMDs, and will be available through Oculus Home as well in the near future.
InMind is a short adventure videogame where players are placed inside surgical prototype bathyscaphe that is shrunk down to microscopic size. From here players will experience the journey into a patients brain in order to search for the neurons that cause mental disorder.
While InCell also involves exploring the body at a microscopic level, but this time in a racing format. Players must charge through a virtual representation of a human cell in on tubular test tracks to help stop an advancing virus.
VRFocus will continue its coverage of Nival VR, reporting back any further updates.
