The Gear VR’s Concepts channel has received a boost this week, as two new applications have launch for the device. Both available for free, the Gear VR version of Discovr Egypt and RSCI Medical Training Sim can be downloaded now.
In Discovr Egypt: King Tut’s Tomb, users are taken back to 1323 BC, a time when Egypt was recognised as a world power. Once lead by King Tutankhamun, his passing is immortalised by the erection of what would become one of the greatest icons of Ancient Egypt. Discovr Labs’ Gear VR application invites users to explore these Ancient Egyptian ruins firsthand.
RSCI Medical Training Sim was originally developed for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, but is now available for all Gear VR owners. A medical training simulation designed to test medical students working on a victim of a road traffic accident, the patient’s life is in your hands as you fight against time to save his life.
Dicovr Labs’ Discovr Egypt and Immersive VR Education Ltd.’ RCSI Medical Training Sim are both available to download for Gear VR via the Concepts channel in Oculus Home now. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest releases for the Gear VR.
