With the Virtual Reality World Congress (VRWC) taking place in Bristol, UK in April, organiser Opposable VR has added another speaker to the events line-up. The latest addition is David Fernández Huerta Senior Games Artist from developer Ustwo Games.
The studio is behind the award-winning Monument Valley and the recently released Land’s End for the Samsung Gear VR mobile head-mounted display, both of which Huerta has worked on. It’s not yet clear which track and topic the artist will be focusing on for his talk, but VRWC will likely reveal further information closer to the event along with more speakers.
The call for submissions is still open with Opposable VR, stating the following topics are of particular interest: VR in gaming, Social VR, Networking and conferencing in VR, VR in architecture, VR in engineering, VR filmmaking, The crossover between VFX and VR, VR and data visualisation, VR in education and VR in medicine.
The VR World Congress will be held in the Marriott City Centre Hotel on 12th April 2016. Early bird tickets can still be purchased until the end of December, and further details are available at the event website. VRFocus will continue to keep you updated on the list of speakers and companies attending the VR World Congress as they’re announced.
