At Sony Computer Entertainments (SCE’s) press conference for Paris Games Week (PGW), the company announced Gran Turismo Sport, developed by Polyphony Digital, would fully support the PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD) for PlayStation 4. Now the developer has released a new set of artworks, showcasing the impressive visual quality of the title.
Polyphony Digital used its annual Christmas party in Japan to share the images, with the high-res versions shared by Super GT drivers Kohei Hirate, Satoshi Motoyama and Masashi Honda, reports Gamepur. The new images features the Lexus RC F and a highly stylised futuristic version of Bugatti’s iconic supercar, the Veyron, with aggressive lines, alloys and rear spoiler.
For Gran Turismo Sport a brand new partnership with FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) was unveiled. There will be two online championships that have been officially sanctioned, the Nations Cup, allowing players to represent their own country. While the Manufacturers Cup players can choose their favourite manufacturer to race for. A beta for the title is expected in spring 2016 with a full version releasing later on in the year.
VRFocus will continue to follow the progress of Gran Turismo Sport, reporting back with any announcements on the videogame.
