The VR World Congress (VRWC) which VRFocus recently reported used to be called SouthWest VR Conference (SWVRC) has now opened submissions for speakers. Opposable VR the organiser of the event is looking for a range speakers from across the virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) industry.
Opposable VR will consider all submissions, although the following topics are of particular interest: VR in gaming, Social VR, Networking and conferencing in VR, VR in architecture, VR in engineering, VR filmmaking, The crossover between VFX and VR, VR and data visualisation, VR in education and VR in medicine.
Opposable wants to build on the success of its first conference, held earlier this year in February by bringing together an even bigger audience of 600 delegates from a wide range of well-known companies and 25 exhibitors from across the world.
Newly added to the line-up of speakers is Katie Goode, Creative Director at Triangular Pixels and Lestyn Lloyd a freelance Unity consultant specialising in VR, AR, and technical art.
The VR World Congress is set to take place in Bristol, UK, at the Marriott Hotel City Centre on 12 April 2016, with early bird tickets available until 31st December 2015.
