Those that have been following VRFocus since its beginnings back in February 2014 will likely heard of Loading Human, the long-anticipated virtual reality (VR) adventure title from Untold Games. The videogame has been on quite the journey over the past 2 years, passing a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign, switching to Unreal Engine 4, announcing support for the PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD), getting a grant from Epic Games, and even securing a publisher in Maximum Games. Recently VRFocus got the chance to talk with CEO Flavio Parenti about Loading Human‘s progress.
In the interview below Parenti discusses some of the most recent updates to the title, including taking Maximum Games on board and the port to PlayStation 4. He also talks about Untold Games’ work with character interactions in VR, and how it hopes to use motion controllers such as PlayStation Move and perhaps even Oculus Touch in order to bring players closer to the title’s cast of characters.
Loading Human is set to launch the first of 3 chapters around the launches of the VR HMDs themselves early next year. VRFocus will continue to follow the title closely, reporting back with the latest updates on its progress.
