Following the announcement that the mixed reality (MR) device, HoloLens, will launch as a ‘Development Edition’ early in 2016, Microsoft has revealed a small selection of videos showcasing the breakdown of the hardware. The HoloLens may be some way from becoming a consumer device, as that $3,000 USD entry price will attest, however its potential to drive forth immersive technology is undeniable.
