Berserk Games’ Tabletop Simulator has now received its second downloadable content (DLC) pack for the videogame. The developer has partnered with Future Pastimes to bring Cosmic Encounter Connector as official DLC on Steam.
Cosmic Encounter Connector is a game of interplanetary colonization and negotiations for three to five players. Players choose from dozens of alien races, and each has its own unique power to help it build an empire that spans the galaxy. Beginning with five home planets and twenty ships, players will seek to colonize as many planets as possible away from their native system. The first alien race (or races) to colonize five planets in other players’ systems wins. Of course, even planets that are not yet colonized are still defended, and in order to establish a settlement, you’ll need to win over the alien race that controls that planet—through negotiation, partnership, or war.
Cosmic Encounter Connector on Tabletop Simulator features 50 alien races, 50 flare cards to boost their powers, 100 flying saucer ships and more. The DLC is currently on offer for £4.61 GBP until 6th October 2015, saving 34% on the standard price. It’s DLC so players will need Tabletop Simulator, which is also at a discounted rate, at £10.04 GBP until 5th October 2015, saving 33%.
The virtual reality (VR) component of Tabletop Simulator isn’t currently available, however Berserk Games has still assured that it is in development. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Tabletop Simulator.
