The consumer launch of Samsung and Oculus VR’s Gear VR mobile virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) is fast approaching and the device is being loaded with content in the run up to that November 2015 window. This week sees the launch of a brand new set of 360 degree experiences that are proving popular on the platform. They arrive in the form of an app called Condition One.
As with other apps such as VRSE, the Condition One app acts as a hub to download and view a total of 4 VR experiences, 3 of which support spatial audio. It’s also possible to preview stereoscopic photos of this content before committing to the download.
“Sit peacefully in the presence of a Navajo weaver,” an official description for the content reads. “Stand in the center of a Monument Valley, Native American dance performance. Watch horses amble by on a Bryce Canyon trail, or meditate at the beach with your own personal guide. A powerful virtual world is within arm’s reach.”
VRFocus will continue to follow any and all experiences for Gear VR, reporting back on each.
