Earlier in the month VRFocus reported on the launch of a ‘Cinematic VR Crash Course‘ video series from Purple Pill, the virtual reality (VR) company that recently released design specs for a pair of 360 degree camera rigs. The course contains 10 lectures with a number of additional materials to help filmmakers get the most out of both 2D and 3D VR filming. The course is worth a total of £171 GBP but, today, VRFocus is offering 20 readers the chance to get access to it for free.
With over an hours’ worth of content, you can expect to learn about selecting a 360 degree camera rig, scripting, shooting and distributing VR films. Also included is example footage, a workflow checklist, a glossary, a list of resources, quizzes and the company’s proprietary 360 degree file management software. The course is available over on Udemy. Winners will be emailed a link to access this experience free-of-charge.
